Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-109)

The Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-109) was successfully conducted from 19th to 28th September 2026 at 2nd MAP, Luangmual, with the participation of 3 SD and 4 SW senior-most cadets from the college. The camp commenced with the Opening Programme by Camp Commandant, AO Lt. Col. Crossmawi L. Hmar, Sena Medal.
Throughout the ten-day camp, cadets participated in various training and activities, including PT, drill, map reading, weapon training and firing, area maintenance, World Rivers Day rally, guest lectures, volleyball matches and a visit to Lunglei. An opportunity for firing training was also extended to cadets from the college, particularly newly enrolled cadets, with 12 cadets participating in the firing session at 2nd MAP, Luangmual, accompanied by the CTO. These activities provided valuable opportunities for cadets to develop discipline, teamwork, leadership and practical NCC skills.
The camp concluded with a Cultural Programme, graced by Col. Lalremruata, AO, 20 Mizo Battalion NCC, as the Chief Guest, along with other distinguished guests, officers, ANOs and ex-cadets.
The camp also brought notable achievements for the college. SUO P. Vanlalrinnungi served as one of the Camp Seniors, while JUO C. Lalruathlua secured Best in Firing. Sgt. Malsawmtluanga Ralte and V. Lalremruati were also awarded medals for their work as Media In-charges.
On 28th September 2026, following the conclusion of CATC-109, AO Lt. Col. Crossmawi L. Hmar, Sena Medal, visited the college and held a meeting with CTO Vankhawpuimawii Pachuau and SUO Zomuanpuia to review the progress of NCC so far, discuss areas for improvement, and provide guidance for the further development of the NCC unit.
